Windows XP is total crap.

* extremely slow
* unstable (random reboots are a normal thing)
* networks DONT WORK (i have no access to view MY computer...)
* its waayyy toooo userfriendly
* if you have a dual boot set up stay with 98SE or 2k.

I'm not a big fan of XP (I like 2000 better) but the best thing is to try it and decide for yourse-

Not but seriously, go to a local electronics store or someone else who has it and see for yourself how it is.

This isn't really a General Linux Question is it? :) So I'm going to move it to General Off Topic.

I haven't tried XP myself, although a friend is going to lend me his box with it installed so I can play around with it. If I like it I might get a copy for further playing around.

In any case, I've decided it's time to train the people at my house on how to use Linux so we can scrap Windows... except for game playing of course... at least until game vendors decide to fully support Linux.
