Whats up all. I read the excellent NHF on the analogx proxy and implimented it. Now my network is running through a satelite connected server. (No DSL in my area)
Anyway the only thing I am having a problem with is running telnet from within the network to the outside world. I want to be able to connect from one of my computers that are behind the proxy to the remote computer outside my LAN.
Anyone know of any good resources on configuring telnet to use analogx or the socks protocol I would appreciate it.
I just spent about 5 hours trying to get info on the socks server "dante".
I thought this might be a good way around this. All I seemed to find out is that there does not seem to be much documentation on that particular server.
Now my head hurts. Thanks a bunch for any help at all. :confused: :confused: :confused:
