Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : OK, Linmodem AGAIN!!
I have tried to install my modem driver and i used the ltmodem-6.00c2.tar.gz. I did ./configure and when it was finished it says that i don't have a kernel headers. I have kerner 2.4.7.
How do i get the kernel header. I have installed RED GAT LINUX 7.2, FULL INSTALL. :)

Can you see if you have the kernel source installed in /usr/src/linux or /usr/src/linux-2.4.17?

Then look on one of your Redhat install cd's for the kernel-source package and install that.
Any Redhat users here know the kernel source package name?
Anyways it shouldn't be that difficult to locate. You could even download the package from the Redhat ftp servers.

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/redhat-7.2-en/os/i386/SRPMS/kernel-2.4.7-10.src.rpm should be the correct package.
