Just wanted to share that I lost 4 days of my life due to a stange RedHat
message.

I tried invain to install redhat 7.3 but during my installation I decided to use
some less fetures that come with red hat like not all the demons and other packages.

as the system strated to format the partitutions it gave a strange eror like
can't create partitution /: you must be out of disk space.

I tryied all sorts of partitutions including a standard by redhat.

only today I saw that all the time I was deleting some pakages that redhat is installing as a standard installtion if I leave it as is meaning install everything the error suddenly gone.

any one encountered that??
any comments??

Give me a break...

I've seen this with Red Hat before Red Hat 8, there was a bug in the installer which has been fixed since. Best thing to do (if you don't want to install 8 or 9) is let it install the default, and then remove what you don't want/need and shutdown all the services it starts you don't like...

I did exactly as you said I installed everything and then
remove most of it.

Just wanted to know if anyone encountered that
