Hello all, I have a redhat 9 machine running on a k6-III 450 and have recently been having problems with my NFS shares. When I boot up the computer it hangs on "starting NFS filesystem" for between 30 and 45 minutes before continuing to boot normally. No error messages are reported and afterwards everything is normal, ie I can mount the nfs shares from other computers just fine. The delay however is way too long and it wasn't always this way. I haven't changed the nic and I don't think I have made any network setting changes. Anyone know what might be causing this lengthy delay on NFS, or how I can figure out what it's doing during the delay?

All I can think of right now is to suggest you verify ALL your NFS config and related files are setup correctly.

Nothing in your logfiles in /var/log to indicate what the delay could be?
