I have Mandrake 8.1 and I enabled anti-aliasing fonts in the KDE Control Center. Everything looks great, but the text on my desktop is some weird font (readable but ugly). I have changed the fonts in the Control Center, and everything changes except for the desktop icon text. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris Lynch

When you changed the desktop font, did you right-click on the desktop and select "Configure Desktop" and then select the "Appearance" tab and change the font there?

Thanks! I feel so dumb. But really, shouldn't the KDE Control Center change it universally?

Yeah, in the control panel there is a section called "fonts" and a section called "Desktop". I guess it made more sense to the KDE developers to have the desktop font in the desktop section rather than the font section. Maybe they should have put in both places :)
