I'm looking for some programs to make my cross-over into Linux a little easier. Is any one aware of a good statistics program for Linux? I'm not looking for a command line program, something more like DataDesk or SPSS. Also, I'm looking for a nice program to plot data. Primarily scatter plots, scatter matrices, and time-series plots. Gnumeric and OpenOffice are okay for this but I need more flexibility. Thanks in advance.
Not sure if it suits your needs, but look at gnuplot (http://www.gnuplot.info).

Thanks for the help. My Mandrake manual provides a website that shows Linux equivalents to Windows programs and it's pretty extensive. If you'd all like to check it out its:

I this helps all of you as much as it did me.
