What is Samba ? What is its use ,how to use it ?I have a stand-alone workstation with Rh-7.1 insatlled.

Samba is used to share files and printers with windows machinges on your network. You don't need it if there are not windows machines on your network. There are many good Samba docs out there, check out www.linuxdoc.org (http://www.linuxdoc.org) if you are interested in it.
