Using the mandrake config utility I selected the wrong monitor and now I can hardly see anything. The one I want is a samsung syncMaster 4Ne. What should I do. What annoys me is the same monitor driver origionally worked fine.

Run Xconfigurator or xf86config to configure your monitor.

The other way out of this is to put your installation CD in, and run upgrade. You will be offered the opportunity to select the monitor of your choice. I have had to use this method several times when I have insralled a monitor that is not listed. This works fine with Mandrake 9.0 and 9.1.
