Python headers

Hi People,
i have to install pyGTK. At the configure
it always says:
python 2.2

header not found.

Do i have to add the headers to a special path ?
Where are they ?

IIRC on Mandrake it has an tendency to install the main package binaries, but not the headers. This means you can run the software, but not compile anything against it.

Look on your Mandy CDs for any packages with -devel in them - something like python2.2-devel.mdk.rpm will probably be the one you are looking for.
