is there a way to view the links to a certain app? for example, I am running debian and want to change my default x browser from enlightenment to blackbox, and there is a file which is a sym link to enlightenment and I want to change it, but I forget the file. if anyone knows the path to that file, it would work too, but this would be handy I think. any ideas??

Why not create (if you don't already have it) an .Xdefaults file in your home directory and put the command exec blackbox?

Your docs on blackbox will tell you the right command if exec blackboxisn't the right command.

when you startx in debian, it invokes the .Xsession by default, and if I change that to exec blackbox I don't have the keyboard correct, and there is a file someplace where you can choose you default window manager, but I don't remember the path.
