Star Office Installation & Mouse Freeze

Hello:

I'm using a USB Logitech 4 button mousemanwheel with Linux Mandrake 7.2 and I tried installing SO. I installed it, loaded the setup and completed the setup. Upon reboot my mouse would not work. I then re-installed Linux Mandrake 7.2 and just loaded the SO package. After rebooting, again my mouse would not work. Any suggestions?

Use PS2 instead. Mice seem to work better with PS2.

Actually, there's a good reason for this, PS2 is much more low level than USB (the mouse is available before the OS starts).
