Is there a driver available for this card? I've googled with no luck, & ATI only lists drivers for the 8500 & above. The card does work, but 3D is terribly slow. Anybody use this card? The system is a 1.7 Celery, 384M DDR, RH9, & this 7500LE. Glxgears gives me a whopping 145 FPS.
Thanks!

Yeah i have one, it isn't a very good card, and worse yet, it's PCI on my part (My agp slot died a long while back  bah) I don't know of any drivers, and i believe they say that they're not planning on supporting it. SO, sorry, you're pretty much out of luck, or you can get a new video card.

Mine is PCI also. This is on an Emachine...damn onboard video was faster(with RH9 anyway, not XP). I would yank the card out, but my son uses this computer for the most part, & he likes his games! Thanks for the reply DSwain

No problem. Then again, it's not too bad of a card (depending on what you're doing) so i really shouldn't say it's a bad card. There may be expierimental drivers somewhere for it, i'm just not sure...

I let a friend of mine(a staunch windows fan) talk me into this card because it did H&T lighting?? to play BF1942. I had my eye on a Nvidia card, should have used my head I guess. I knew that Nvidia supported Linux because I had used their drivers on other systems , didn't know a thing about Linux support for ATI. Oh well, no big deal, he hardly ever uses it anyway. Maybe I'll use it for a Q3 or a Wolfenstein ET server instead. Thanks again.
