I've been looking for a way to set aside some ram as a partition in Linux, and haven't found much. Has anyone successfully done this, or have any advice for where to start reading? Thanks a million.

Advise for reading material? The manpage and searching G4L. I meant to read those manpages as soon as our netadmins finished working on the firewall, (I have to SSH to our linux boxes) but saw the link morphine gave and thanked him first. mdwatts 08-02-2003, 06:50 AM Originally posted by andysimmons Oh yeah, thanks!
