Audigy help - drake 9.1 - no 5.1 sound

hey,

i got the audigy installed quite easily as mandrake detected it and automatically loaded the emu10k1 modules.. although, when i play cds, it uses 2.1 sound, not 5.1. am i missing something? xmms and xine and kaboodle either dont detect my audigy or they cant find the sound module to use. ive tried the settings. nothing works.

You can try searching around here and G4L for 'audigy 5.1' to see if there are any options to can pass to the emu10k1 module to allow 5.1 sound or if that does not work, you may need to install the Audigy drivers from http://opensource.creative.com/
