If(and most likely) that this is the case, open one of the following "terminals": gnome-terminal konsole aterm xterm eterm Those are basically the terminal's that are well-known to myself, I'm sure that if you have mandrake installed that it'll have every single terminal and then some, because that's the way they like to be. Anyways, I hope this helps you out a bit. Keep learning :) razorwindmo 10-07-2001, 01:37 PM I am using RH 7.1. Thank you for your reply. I found it just before your reply. Thanks again Ozzy983 10-07-2001, 01:48 PM Why would you assume he is using Mandrake? Other distro you can set the default to load X? I did it with Red Hat. Just find out where you do it in Mandrake, and apply it to Redhat or any other distro of linux. Later, Oz bdg1983 10-07-2001, 02:00 PM It was only 'for example if you are using Mandrake, then you have a choice of these terminals'. At least that's how I read it to be. razorwindmo 10-07-2001, 02:07 PM Ok people. I found the terminal, thank you justlinux.com
