redhat linux newbie

55 years old no computer training. recently purchased lc2000 notebook
from linuxcertified san jose ca came dual boot. phone seller ask for booklet,
told me i have to take a course. ask for login instructions. gave me root
then boot12 ok it work. while checking out icons i did something in password secuity i believe. i hit sessions i the word last is lite up i click it
and two blank screens appear. when i try root/boot12 the reply is caps on
or user/password incorrect.
have laptop since july 11 can even use it getting tick off

I'm not even sure what the question is that you're asking. Further, "redhat linux newbie" isn't an appropriate title for a thread-- try reading the Community Help Posting Guidelines at at the top of every help forum.

You're welcome to repost your question, assuming you provide an appropriate title for the question. But, a little clarity in the wording of your question might help as well.
