I am running Debian 3.0 and I'm using ezbounce 1.04a and I can connect to IRC through ezbounce but I am not sure how to change it to say something different when someone does a WHOIS on me how can I make it mask my actuall IP and make it say something different?
Have you tried doing some research at Google? Hope you find some doc on how to do that.

You could try searching www.google.com/linux for something like 'mask ip address' or 'exbounce mask ip' or try searching the JL Networking forum to see if this subject has been asked and hopefully answered before.
Anyone else familiar on what to use to mask your ip address? Thanks

Couldn't a person just use a proxy?

That is why I suggested having a look/search in the Networking forum as it likely has been covered in one of the previous threads. :)
