On bootup, I get the repetitive error "IDE 2: Unexpected interrupt, status=0xb0, count=(# keeps growing)" this error flashes in repetitive intervals (about every 5 secs) and is EXTREMELY annoying.
I am running an Intel b875pbz motherboard with a western digital raptor serial ata harddrive on the primary serial ata channel and two cd drives on the primary parallel ata channel. the mobo uses the ICH5 controller for IDE and serial ATA.
I am running a pentium 4 2.8c GHz processor with 800MHz FSB, and dual channel ddr 400 mem with hyperthreading enabled. I dont know if thats part of the problem, but obviously the kernel cannot communicate with the secondary IDE channel.
help.
