Okay, I'm trying to update my kernel... when i run "start xconfig" or whatever that command is, it says 'command wish not found.' I was told to download TK and TCL... I did so, but they don't work... I think I need to put them in my path, how do I do this? like... i know i need to put it in etc/profile but i mean do any of you guys know what the path is for both of these???

Mandrake 8.1
Im trying to install 8.1 full, right now im running 8.0 b/c 8.1 didn't work. The error was "An error has occured. Can't access kernel modules corresponding to your kiernel (file /lib/modules.cz-2.4.3-BOOT6 is missing)". I re-downloaded the ISO and re-burnt and tried to install again, and I got the same error! I'm going to try to upgrade, but I'll prob. get taht error again.. any suggestions?!

Always check the md5sum of the iso files before burning them, then at least if you have problems you know that's not it.

If you need to install anything look on the cd's first.
On the first cd you'll find:
tcl-8.3.3-7mdk.i586.rpm
tk-8.3.3-7mdk.i586.rpm
