Hehe. New computer. AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (2.14ghz, i believe). It's running on an Abit NF7-S motherboard with the nForce2 chipset (very sweet) with 512mb pc2700 DDR. Connected to that is a 4x Pioneer DVD-R along with 200gb+100gb+40gb hdd's. Video is provided by my new ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128mb. It's a sweet setup :) 5.1ch surround sound. Logitech MX700 mouse.

I have one problem now. It's hot. What temp. is the proc supposed to be around? It's normally around 130F on a low/average load. The board is at 95F and the hard drives are at 90F. I have 2-80mm fans on the case, 1-120mm fan cooling the drives, and a fan on each the CPU, VPU, and chipset. For that many fans, it seems like it's still really warm.

Don't know if this is a good suggestion or not as I don't know if you haven't already considered, but doesn't your BIOS indicate the temperature and warn you if it's getting too warm? My friends and I just use the trial-and-error system. :D

My Athlon XP 2200+ got around that temp, but then again, it was in a very hot room with no air conditioning.

If you're concerned about the temp, I'd suggest getting a better HS/F cooler ;)
