mldonkey help

i recently downloaded a version of mldonkey. but when i unzipped it and tryed to get it to install, it tells me that i need GLIBC_2.3
does any one know where i can get this file, or how to fix it.

another thing is, there is no configure file in the package. is there supposed to be?

Glib is not just a file, it's a library.

Mandrake 9.0

but i installed the glib library 2.2 when i was trying to get gaim working, how do i upgrade?

It's Glibc 2.3. Try to upgrade using the Mandrake tool to manage packages (URPMI).

If the tools withinMandrake don't work for you, you could try a search on rpmfind.net. I use this a lot.
