I am trying to set up my Lexmark z23 printer under RedHat 9.0 and when I go through the printer setup under Gnome to add a new printer it automatically detects a color-inkjet-lexmark printer at /dev/lp0/usb and when I get to the select driver page there isn't a driver for my printer. So, I went to lexmark and downloaded their driver, installed it, to include dependencies, and it still didn't show up in the menu.

So my question is...where does RedHat 9.0 put the printer drivers and can I copy the driver to that directory???? to get my printer to work?

The Lexmark drivers have installed the printer - there's no need to use GNOME's setup tool. Your printer should work in applications (hopefully). If not, then try KDE's setup tool, or the one made by Redhat.
