Ive been looking for a good ppp dialup program for my 56k modem but ive yet to find one, I know kppp works but I don't want to use KDE, so is there any good dial up software out there that I can use? Any help would be appretiated, thanks.

If you want a GUI dialer, try out gkdial.

It requires GTK, but not GNOME. Very lightweight, it runs fine on older systems.
I'm pretty sure it is a ppp frontend

Wvdial will do it for you.

Of course, you could write custom config files for the ppp daemon to make it dial your ISP, but really, its not that fun. :)

If you have KDE installed but not as your WM then you can use KPPP to dial with just about any WM.
