I have a modem, but RH9 cannot detect it.

How can i install it ??

I have no idea on it....~.~

See if you can find some that help and deal with your particular type of modem and post back if you require further assistance.

Thans for the suggestions

I search already before i post, but it's too many and i didn't see any topic fits my answer....or i think i don't understand too much to take the answer...~.~ sorry for that.

My modem is intel, i also got a motorola, but now i installed the intel one.

I check it haven't install in X-WIndow, how i check it in Shell mode??

Then now, what should i do next ??

What is the step i need to do ?

Download the drvier and just install it ??

First you need to identify the exact modem chipset your using. A good first step if it is a pci card modem are to do:

/sbin/lspci

and

cat /proc/pci

One of those Intel HAM's?

I've seen thread here on those and they could possibly contain links to where you can download the drivers.
