How do I get ALT-GR to work in X?

For those who don't know what ALT-GR is: It's the right alt key on a Swedish(maybe others to) keyboard that is needed to produce the 'at' and 'pipe' character(and some more).

I use Xfree86 4.0.2 and kernel 2.4.2.

*hmmms*

in /etc/X11/XF86Config which keyboard is selected?

I'm not 100% sure which keyboard that functionality would be on but I seem to recall 3 or more keyboards that might cover 'swedish' --- also .. you could check xf86cfg and see if you could insert the characters required into the keyboard .. (as root of course) -- I admit that xf86cfg is a little confusing/intimidating, but it might work for you.
