wheel mouse again

Ok, I have installed and ran Imwheel, and changed a few things around in the XF86Config file, but nothing seems to work. As I was looking through the NHF's though, I realized that nothing discusses USB mice, and that is what I have. Is there a special configuration needed to get the wheel to work with a USB mouse?
