I believe one or two of these JL forum search results for 'wordperfect' (http://justlinux.com/forum/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=664546&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending) will explain that certain old libraries will be required in you intend to install WP. o0zi 07-08-2003, 02:15 AM WordPerfect kind of became obselete when OpenOffice and StarOffice came around. jumpin 07-08-2003, 04:50 AM There are lots of google links. The trick is to either use wordperfect8 as one word or look for guilg00.gz which is the WP tarball. A typical google hit is http://ldp.darwinzone.com/FAQ/WordPerfect-Linux-FAQ/downloadwp8.html which may give you what you want, John mhacleth 07-08-2003, 11:14 AM I was looking at the wrong place. CNET, Tucows, other sites... this is where I got the listing of the download sites and install instruction : http://www.linuxmafia.com/wpfaq/downloadwp8.html also http://corellinux.com/support/html/9210.htm is very helpful. Thanks guys! Hey oOzi, sorry if I disappoint you but WP8 is quite easy for me to use for my formal papers requiring strict Turabian format. I'll try tweaking OpenOffice Writer to format the layout Turabian way. :p justlinux.com
