well, i need to get into BIOS, but i can't figure out which key, it's not del, and i've hit a few of the F keys and i can't figure out if 1 of them is the right key, my mother bord is an intel, i think the model is "D845WN" assuming i am reading the right number off the bord.

the best thing to do is go to the intel web site and look up the manual for your motherboard.

most manufacturers keep pdf or html versions around on their web sites.

You probably need to enable verbose in the bios to be able to see more info when booting. See if that works.

:p

Try what Hayl suggested.

Does it display the bios manufacturer and version etc.?

It should and you can use that to search i.e. Google to hopefully find out which key.

Did you try all that were suggested? Pressing them right after the first 'beep' on power up?

It's F1 (http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/ebureadme.txt), when you hear the first posts, hit it a few times.
