gentoo emerge question

ok, i have one more gentoo question...

i have a cd with the entire up-to-date (at least as far as last weekend) portage tree...how would i go about emerging directly from the cd instead of over http?

i know it's a simple question, but i couldn't find a good answer elsewhere....

There's a section in the installation instructions on using a cd and in the Gentoo forums there are several threads- look under installation FAQ and Tips, Trickss, and Documentation. Good luck.
