I just really was looking at my graphics card and I noticed this thing called a tv-out card (yeah, I know, stupid question)... what the heck it this for?
Can I use my tv as a monitor?:D

Yes you can.
The manual or the manufacturers website should have something on tv-out.
TV-OUT = plug into TV

I know, my friend said that you could only watch dvds on the tv, but if I can hook up all my output into the tv, thats tight as ####

I wonder how does the image look like on a standard tv screen (27 ''), since a normal tv screen resolution is pretty low. :p

You can only use something like 800x600 or 640x480.
oubipaws... check the manual.
If Nvidia, review their README for the Linux drivers.
ATI has documentation on their site I believe.
