does any one know what the system requrements for kde 3.0 are? i looked on the website and all i found out is that you need 500 mb of hd space for it. does any one know of the RAM requrements?

The more memory you have, the better it'll work. o0zi 07-02-2003, 12:39 PM Anything before about a 600Mhz or 500Mhz processor will leave KDE a bit sluggish. It'll run, but slowly. If you have a lower-spec PC than that, try IceWM, or if you want top speed try Fluxbox or Blackbox. jamez1988 07-02-2003, 01:34 PM ok, thanks. ive got 100mhz pentium w/ 48 mb ram, so i think i'll stick with kde 1. btw, whats the deal with ice wm? i hate it but everyone seems to recommend it to me. lol. id use black box more if it was easyer to configure. justlinux.com
