Dear LNO people,
I am using Red Hat Linux 6.2. I have a supported video card under XFree86 3.3.6 which is Nvidia's RIVA TNT 2. I have heard that XFree86 4.02 is good and want to try for more experience. Please give me advice on how to upgrade. Do I upgrade directly to 4.02 using rpms or tarballs? What are the steps?
One more question: Can I play quake3 arena on Red Hat Linux 6.2 even if my graphics card is not 3dfx?
Thanks. I'll be hearing from you soon.
