We are trying to convert from Exchange 5.5 and moving to Sendmail running on Linux. However the users still have windows desktops. and outlook. How do you configure outlook to even see anything but Inbox.
We have IMAPD and cryus-sasl running. Why does nothing else show up. I understand that this is for Linux. But we are slowly migrating stuff off to Linux. But if we yank outlook before we move over to linux desktops. Any ideas.

it should automagically see all the user's subscribed IMAP folders however, i have one person at home here that uses Outlook to access mail on my linux server, and I have found the Microsoft implementation of IMAP in Outlook to be "extremely lacking" to put it politely.

one time after a restore from backup, Outlook failed to access and subfolders but Squirrelmail could see them fine. i moved all the mail back into the inbox, and deleted the folders in Squirrelmail then recreated and Outlook could magically see them again.

Yes. But does it require a local pst file or other local file. When we tried to create the box in Sendmail and Cryus and then create the profile in outlook all we saw was the Inbox. There wasn't anything else. No other folders like sent or even trash. Is that follow what you know? Thanks for all the help given so far. It is appreciated.
