Hi! I burned the Slackware live ISO from the free CD Linuxuser magazine and it "installed" well on a laptop a friend of mine uses but.. I can't get into the Internet. There's no kppp or pppd for that matter. does anyone know if there's a way to use that CD and go online? Or maybe add this option? Thanx

Slackware has a LiveCD??

<*Looks for download*>

<* finds it at Slackware-live.org (http://www.slackware-live.org/download.php) *>

There should be something to dial out on there... nothing for ppp or even cu?

There's ppp but no interface to use it. At least I think so.
Would you be so kind as to browse the included packages list at http://www.slackware-live.org/installed_packages.txt
and give me a tip?

adsl-setup? I always use it to connect to my ADSL.
