help with ytalk

i can not get ytalk or talk to work. they both give the same error which is "segmentation fault". i do not understand what this is. is there any way to get it working? thanks.

Anything else besides the 'segmentation fault' error as that really does not tell us much.

Are you running ytalk/talk at the commandline so to display all error messages?
