I'm using a k6-350 with 128 MB of RAM. I have an Adaptec 2940 card with 2 SCSI drives coming off it.

A few screens into installing RedHat 9, I get this error:

??The Partition table on /dev/sda is inconsistent. There are many reasons why this might be. Often, the reason is that linux detected the BIOS geometry incorrectly. However, this does not appear to be the case here. It is safe to ignore, but ignoring may cause (fixable) problems with some boot loaders, & may cause problems with FAT file systems. Using LBA is recommended.

It then gives me a choice of IGNORE or CANCEL...

What does all this mean??

I formatted my drives - FAT

I just deleted them, new partition, ext3 filesystem

Cheers!
