mount USB mass storage

Could use some help....

I'm trying to mount my USB storage device. The device is recognized with the following output in /proc/bus/

looks good so far. The drivers have loaded (usb-uhci and usb-storage) and it is recognized in /proc/scsi and /dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target0/lun0/generic

I can't find anything to mount. (hint: it is not sda1.) Any ideas, It is on Gentoo Linux and the device is generic USB 128mb storage.

first thing I did, with no useful info (in fact loosks pretty much identical to what I posted.)

It is formatted as NTFS. could that have anything to do with it?

got it. needed scsi disk support in the kernel.
