Hi everybody :)

Well, this is just a quick question.. i remember seeing some screenshots of different window managers for X11, with a windows boot screen running in a window, *within* X11... is this possible with Wine? i've already installed it.

Oh, and regarding wine; sometimes it exits with an error msg of : required "x.dll" file not found. can i just search for this dll and install it under the windows system directory so the file will be properly ran by Wine?

Thanks a lot for all the input received! :D

You probably saw a screenshot of VMWare, I would say the best full emulator of Windows/Linux. www.vmware.com (http://www.vmware.com) There are other ways too, using Windows program like Remotely Anywhere, PC Anywhere, etc. But most of these only access OTHER systems, not the one your currently using, which is what I am guessing you desire. As far as WINE errors, don't ask me, when I run WINE billions of errors appear in the terminal, although it still works the way it should. I try to just ignore it. Does this error cause the session to crash or did it just appear in terminal?

it is also possible to run wine as a desktop window. It does work but usually not that great.
