KDE Menu's...newbie to KDE

Maybe I haven't played around enough yet, but I am having problems organizing my menus in KDE. (Running Mandrake release 6.5).
I have one menu of utilities that goes off the bottom of the screen, is there a way to arrange those links into two menus??
I couldn't find a question like that in the forums...

kde has a menu editor. i don't know much about it, except that exists. it should be somewhere in your menu. if you can't find it there just run it from a terminal. the program name is:

kmenuedit

should be in /opt/kde/bin

Are you saying that you want your menu to be presented as two columns of items? Well, if you upgrade to KDE 2, it will automatically do that for you. I don't know if there's a way to do it in KDE 1.x, however.
