need help

I want to do with my lptop is work with dos from itand want to hook my laptop up to any network or computers. How would i do this?


Do i have to install a tool or us msdos or something?

What exactly do you mean? You know, if you are used to using DOS commands, you could always create alias's to DOS commands. Like

alias dir="ls -l"

You could append the chnages to the user's .bashrc file to make them permanent. As for connecting to a network, that isn't too big of a hurdle. Explain the network and then we can tell ya how.

What would that have to do with Linux?

XP and Linux? You mean dualboot, file access between both or whatever?
