I am one of those people that love to install software numerous times. Here is the problem. I downloaded a couple of RPM's for my drake 7.2 and typed rpm -i <rpm>
My computer sat there a sec and then refreshed the prompt. So I says to myself "SELF" did that install? Or do I need to go to the userdrake package manager to finish the install? Well after several attempts at installing and checking the rpm manager (BTW it does not list the rpms that I rpm -i). I now have several copies of the same thing and usually end up just dl'ing the *.tar.gz file and trying it there. Windoze has the uninstall feature does linux?
And would you be so kind as to telling me how to get either rpm manager or package manager to find the new rpm's that I grabbed?
Thanks
