I have Man9.0 running on a Multi Boot with 98s and all is well>
My other PC has win2000ntfs and is approx 80g one partition.
I used Partmagic too create free space and formatted it with the Linux file system, hoping that I would beable to install the RH9.0.
Changed to Boot from CD rom drive in the system setup. Tried to boot the RH9.0 but to no avail. I assume that it cannot read the files on a ntfs system. But I do not want to change the filing sys. for win2000pro. RH9.0 does not recognize the sys files is there an kernel whereas I might use for the RH9.0? Or is there another way to get this operating?

Most any Linux will load up and dual boot even if you are using NTFS on the Windows system.
One thing tho, I would delete that partition that you made with PM and leave it as free space. Redhat and most any other Linux has it's own partition tool which is used during the install.
Just make sure that you only use the free space and leave existing stuff alone!
Did you check the MD5 sums before you burned the cdroms?

Thanks for your info > that is strange for yes I booted the RD9.0 on my other PC that contains 98s and Man9.0, and no problem.
But i cannot figure out why this will not boot on my 2000pro pc.
Yes I deleted the PM ext2 file system from my disk, and left all for free space>> Tell me, what is MD5SUMS? I burnt 2 good disks whereas RH9.0 has a testing for all the disks before installing. No 1 passed and no2 passed but no 3 there is a problem related too "It cannot find the checksum" so no pass for the third> I guess before you burn the disks you must check the MD5SUMS, is this correct? What do I look for when i check for MD5SUMS?
Thank you

MD5sums checks the integrity of the iso files that you downloaded; you use it before you burn the isos to CD. MD5sums information is here (http://www.linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/verifyiso.html).
