I'm still kinda learning Linux and I was wondering how can I save an "image" of my hard drive (for example, like a Windows Ghost image). I fear that when I'm trying to installing something that I will mess up my PC and I wanna have a back up to boot back up if something goes wrong. How can I go about this? Is there a way that I can save my PC config into .ISO or what? Thanks -kris

The only solution I can think of (its 5 in the morning here!) is to dual boot to win (if you use an older version it will take less than 200mb) in its own separate partition and use Norton Ghost from there.
If you need any more help, just ask,

Yeah, that would work, but I don't wanna install Windows on this Linux PC. It's an older PC and I don't wanna mess around with Windows installations. I think they're might be another way, but thanks anyway

Symantec "says" that Norton Ghost 2003 "Supports" Linux ext 2/3
Symantec Ghost (http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/sys_req.html)
I'd take this with a lot of sugar. Or beer, yeah beer is good.

if you have a server to back up to, you could try G4U
