WINE Problems

I am trying to run a game using WINE, and it seems that the problem I have is not with the game, but with the front-end that I have to use to get into the game. I get a lot of these errors that just go on and on until I kill it. Here is the error I get:

err:local:LOCAL_GetBlock Local heap not found

any ideas?

what games are u running and what are your machine and video card specs.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 256 DDR running the NVIDIA drivers from NVIDIA. I run Slackware 8.0 and downloaded, compiled, and installed WINE. I'm trying to run a game called ARC, www.arc-network.com (http://www.arc-network.com) and it seems the only problem I am having is getting the front-end working, not the game. I have to have the front-end though to run the game. :(
