Hi I don't know where to post this and I'm not too sure if anyone had posted this before. Anyway, I'm glad that Torvalds is gonna be concentrating full time on the kernel now.

How long can this guy go on? :p I mean, I could never managed to work with a freakin kernel all day long. Would have went crazy and seen code on the walls after 6 months. Respect to the finnish guy :D

Is it just me not paying enough attention, or is the hype considerably toned down in anticipation for kernel 2.6?
I remember all the hype and fuzz in the months prior to the release of version 2.4 though :D
Cheers :)

Excuse my ignorance, but if Linus doesn't have a bundle saved up, where will his income come from if he just works on the kernel?

Oh, I guess I should have read that article.
OSDL will provide the income.
" Founded in 2000, OSDL, based in Beaverton, Ore., is funded by Computer Associates, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, NEC and other high-tech companies."
So there...
