Hi,
Am a newbie in linux. I am curios how linux o/s works thus I installed just recently Red Hat Linux 9 ( 2.4.20-8 kernel version).
My problem is that my modem does not work under linux. Am using D-Link 562-IS internal modem. I understand that the chipset used on this modem is HSFi conexant. I got the idea where to obtain driver for this particular chipset from this forum ( especially the one posted by iralandes).
Is there anyone could give me detailed instruction how to install this driver and configure internet connection? I cannot understand the method given from linuxant website. I have saved the driver into diskette but I do not know how to install driver under linux.
I need your help.
