Does anyone know how to take a screen shot in linux? I am using Mandrake 9.0 Thanks,

Gimp also has a nice screen-shot feature under Aquire. All you do is select full-screen or focused window, and snapshot delay (so you don't have Gimp in screenshot if you don't want).

Yes I know what a Choad is, the nickname has stuck with me my whole life. but I still don't understand how to take a screen shot. I just do it threw Gimp? How?

Try ksnapshot. If you have KDE it should be installed and available for you.
