Okay, I have everything installed and running except my video card... my SBLive! works now too :) (I'm the one with the 30 some post who couldn't get it to work... was my digital speakers couldn't read the analog output, so I bought a new card and new speakers... spent 100 to much, so if anybody wants to buy a SBLive! Value, just say so. :) ) Anyway... I have downloaded and installed my NVIDIA drivers for my GeForce 256 DDR, but they don't work... I load up tuxracer, and I get this crappy frame by frame thing... and when it loads, it says: Loading Required GL Library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2.030300

that isn't my NVIDIA, thas the basic one from first install, how do I change that?

sounds like we have a similar system... this isn't an answer but a question... Hows your gforce work in windoz??? My acceleration is crap, but its the only card I could get X to work on.

It sounds like you need to symlink the NVIDIA GLX items to the missing Mesa file.

Try this:

ln -s /usr/lib/libGL.so /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2.030300

Please email me one way or the other. (Getting a document together.)

well.. now it has changed, my friend has a TNT2, and his works kinda of, so I started over, and I did an expert install... lots better too... I went and downloaded the NVIDIA drivers and such, but now I get:

Couldn't open required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2.030300!
