NEVER BUY AN HP COMPUTER

I have tried everything i can think of to get linux (about 6 different distros) to recognize my USB keyboard and mouse. I really don't think it possible...anybody got any ideas?

Try using a USB to DIN converter. Works find for my Optical Mouse.

i am using redhat wolverine and it detected everything roght off the bat.

Thanks, I think ill give wolverine a try, got any idea where i can get an iso. I tried redhat, but i can only transfer at 10 kb/s and that's gonna take forever.

Do you have DSL or cable? If so, try one of the mirror sites listed on the Red Hat site. I've been using the Buffalo site and hitting around 300K a second.
